Sales Coaching, Training, and How to Manage Without
Coaching is near and dear to my heart, so I'm particularly looking forward to this session. The last couple of years have been challenging in terms of formal learning/training, though when zooming out one will see that they're only the tail end of a long reduction in "soft" training that companies do. Many salespeople today have never gone through formal training, so managers/leaders will often hire or inherit more instinctive salespeople (rather than those formally trained).
So how do you manage when you don't have the luxury of formal training programs, external coaches, or endless resources? This interactive session will explore practical strategies to:
Build a coaching culture within your team, even without formal structures
Recognize when and how to train in the flow of work
Develop "resourceful leadership" skills that help you get results despite constraints
Balance being a manager and a coach - knowing when to step in, and when to step back
Through case studies, discussion, and peer exchange, you'll walk away with concrete techniques you can apply immediately to elevate your team's performance, regardless of the tools or support you have.
We will be reverting to the regular cadence on this one, and you're all invited to share your challenges in either Wise Crowd or Advisory Board structures.
