Post Event: Power Changes the Conversation

𝐄𝐆𝐍 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐒𝐠𝐑𝐭 β€” Women’s Executive Leadership, Singapore 1 Peer Group Meeting

Power Changes the Conversation

Leadership is not only about the position we hold. It is also about how we use our voice, build meaningful connections, and create opportunities for others.

At our recent EGN Women’s Executive Leadership, Singapore 1 Peer Group Meeting, members came together for an engaging conversation around β€œPower Changes the Conversation” β€” exploring how women leaders can confidently use their influence, advocate for themselves and others, and create greater visibility and equity.

Key Takeaways:

1. Build your network. Mentors, sponsors and peers can open doors and support your growth.

2. Be brave to ask for help. Being vulnerable and seeking support is part of strong leadership.

3. Speak up for yourself and others. Make your voice heard and help create space for others.

4. Keep learning. Stay curious, keep educating yourself and remain open to new perspectives.

5. Lift others as you grow. Use your influence to create opportunities and help others feel seen and valued.

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful speakers Alya Annabi, Dr. Lakshmi Ramachandran and Shehara Viswanathan for sharing your insights and experiences with our members.

Thank you to Ivana Fertitta for bringing everyone together and making the session happen, and to Dona Amelia for creating the space for meaningful conversations and connections within our EGN community.

Thank you also to all our EGN members and participants for your openness, thoughtful contributions and active participation.

We’re grateful to Genevieve Lim from Marina Bay Sands for being there with us so graciously, and to Weemin Ong and Kenneth Leong from Marina Bay Sands for their continued support in hosting and supporting the EGN leadership community.

We look forward to more meaningful conversations, connections and learning together.πŸ’™
