Post Event: Top 10 Things CEOs Should Know About AI
𝐄𝐆𝐍 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 — EGN Executive Leadership, Singapore 1 Peer Group Meeting
Our recent Executive Leadership 1 session brought together senior leaders for an engaging and thought-provoking discussion on “Top 10 Things CEOs Should Know About AI.” CEOs and executives explored how AI is shaping leadership, decision-making, and long-term business strategy.
The conversation went beyond hype, focusing on practical insights every CEO should understand — from responsible adoption and risk awareness to leveraging AI as a strategic advantage. The open exchange of perspectives and real-world experiences created meaningful dialogue throughout the session.
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻:
• AI is not ready to fully replace people; human-in-the-loop will remain essential. AI will replace tasks, not jobs.
• Increased regulation and compliance are inevitable, with greater demands for transparency, traceability, and responsible use.
• Now is the time to experiment and learn AI workflows. Leaders must understand both the possibilities and limitations before defining AI policies. Continuous learning is no longer optional at board level.
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗥𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗲𝘀𝗵:
• AI is a once-in-a-generation disruption, but success depends on adoption, not technology alone.
• Change is driven by people and behavior, not tools.
• Leading with outdated thinking is the greatest risk in a rapidly evolving world.
• Effective change is co-created through empathy, inclusion, and authenticity.
• CXOs must model the right behaviors and embrace informed risk-taking.
A special thank you to Marina Bay Sands for hosting us in such an exceptional setting, to Dave Mommen and Raveesh Gupta for sharing their valuable insights as speakers, and to Steven Lesser for expertly chairing the discussion. We also thank all EGN members who actively contributed, making the session truly impactful.
We look forward to continuing these meaningful leadership conversations in upcoming Executive Leadership sessions.
