We must become bridges across generations to shape a better future. Last nightโs EGN Leadership Peer Group Jakarta meeting captured this challenge perfectly, as we explored how Indonesia can prepare for the future while unlocking wisdom from leaders of every age and industry.
Together with our insightful speaker Michal Wasserbauer, Ph.D. and Veejay Madhavan we dived into:
โ Landing Gen Z in the Workplace โ Veejay challenged us to look past stereotypes and focus on clarity. We, as leaders, must question our own readiness to empower and guide them. This deeply resonates with me as I lead a team where more than 60% are Gen Z. Itโs not just about adapting to a new generation, but about evolving how we communicate, mentor, and build trust.
โ Indonesiaโs Global Trade Strategy โ Michal reminded us that we always need to see the lights at the end of the tunnel. Without hope we are nothing. As we are facing the volality, the business expansion must be balancing identity with adaptability, choosing the right local partners, investing in compliance as digitalization reduces grey areas, and above all, putting relationships first.
Thank you to our amazing chair Yohanes Jeffry Johary and all our amazing #EGN members who joined us in this session. ๐ฅฐ
